Lockport Chamber of Commerce Volunteers for Tips

Is your business or organization looking for a volunteer opportunity that gives back? The Lockport Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteer groups for the Old Canal Days Festival Weekend (June 11–14, 2026). The Old Canal Days Beer Garden is one of the biggest highlights of the weekend, and the Chamber is proud to continue the Volunteers for Tips program in 2026—sharing Beer Garden tip jar proceeds with participating organizations.

How the Program Works

• The first four (4) approved groups to commit will each receive one-quarter (1/4) of the total Beer Garden tip jar proceeds collected during the festival weekend (June 11–14, 2026).

• Groups must volunteer as a team, with a minimum of five (5) volunteers.

• Each volunteer must commit to a shift of 4 to 4.5 hours.

• The four selected groups may display signage in the Beer Garden to help encourage tips.

Eligibility & Selection

• Applicants must be current Lockport Chamber of Commerce members in good standing.Questions about membership status: office@lockportchamber.com or 815-838-3357

• If your organization participated in a previous year’s Volunteers for Tips program, you must reapply for 2026.

• Eligible applicant categories include 501(c)(3) organizations (proof of exemption may be required).

• Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis using time-stamped submissions, as long as eligibility requirements are met.

• Groups will be notified of acceptance by May 14, 2026, or once four (4) viable group commitments have been secured—whichever happens first.

• Volunteer names must be included on this form at the time of submission (subject to verification).
